Dear members of AASUA:

As you will know from an item in last month's issue of Rhumblines, the Council of AASUA gave a mandate to its negotiations committee to explore with administration the prospects for arranging a compensation agreement beyond 30 June 2013, when the current two-year agreement ends. More here.

The February 2012 APO Newsletter is here. The APO AGM & Social taking place on May 30, 2012 in the Wild Rose Room at Lister Hall. The AGM is from 2:00-3:00 p.m. and the Social is right afterwards until 5:00 p.m.

If you are a Faculty member and have been recommended for or received less than 1.0 merit in your faculty's FEC process, you have the right to appeal via the reconsideration process that your FEC is required to provide or the General Appeals Committee (GAC), a standing committee of General Faculties Council. Please see Articles 13.68 and 15.15 for appeal deadlines and contact AASUA as soon as possible to discuss your appeal options.
